The garden at the rear of the house has a lawn, fruit trees, a pond and flower borders, mainly roses.

From both front and rear gardens you can see our field across the lane,which is occupied from time to time by sheep. This field is bordered by the ancient Chalkney Woods with its many footpaths.

Chalkney Woods is next to our field, and can be seen from the house and gardens. Here are the woods at bluebell time.
